Biography
Suz Brna’s bold paintings and sculpture capture the expression and essence of the figures she creates.
|
Her contemporary works reach deeply into psychological and sociological commentary of the world around her while showing a beauty among it all. Through color and form, she is grateful to be allowed a venue to expressively tell of personal experiences and observations reflecting a wide range of emotions and styles. This creative approach allows viewers the freedom to participate and find their own meaning according to their life experience and philosophical views. Suz has a Bachelor of Science in Fine Art and has been painting in oils and acrylic collages on canvas for over twenty years. |
Suz’s work has been exhibited across the United States, Berlin: Germany, and Oslo: Norway. Her art has been published in Western Life Magazine distributed in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, gaining her international attention. She was also published in the new book, The Art of Gambling, through the Ages, by Arthur Flowers and Anthony Curtis. She is featured alongside Leroy Neiman, Toulouse Lautrec, Vincent Van Gogh, and Pablo Picasso. She has exhibited over 20 originals in the Paradise Lust collection at the Las Vegas Art Museum and showed a one women show at their Las Vegas Bi-centennial. |
Suz’s artistic ability stretches beyond canvas and paint. Her 40 original pieces including six-foot figures, miniatures, monumental pieces and reliefs have been reproduced thousands of times inside and outside the Venetian Hotel Casino and in the City of Las Vegas; Howard Lieburn Senior Center.
